AR Airways
An AR-based training platform for intubation procedures.
Year :
2024
Project Duration :
1 Year

Overview:
EMTs often face challenges in accessing high-quality training for intubation procedures due to constraints in time, budget, and geographic location. Existing training tools are expensive, static, and lack interactivity, limiting their effectiveness in preparing EMTs for high-pressure scenarios.
AR Airways aims to address this challenge through an intubation simulation, addressing the following key pain points:
Geographic restrictions: AI Airways can train EMTs in normal and difficult intubation with a portable AR platform.
Interactivity: The platform has demonstrated AR-guided intubation steps with real-time feedback and visuals.
Static Training: AI Airways incorporates a virtual assistant, which uses AI to dynamically guide users through the procedure. Highlighted performance metrics and feedback help evaluate success and improve skills.
Team: Bo Kim, Sid Hathi, Cinay Dilibal, Jennifer Lee, David Molina, Uhuru Hashimoto, Karina Rao
Deliverables:
AR/VR medical simulation application
Interactive AI Health chatbot
End-to-end UXD Design process
Airways Mannequin with sensors
